Recently, Lady Gaga was seen on the set of the highly anticipated sequel, Joker: Folie à Deux, in New York City. She caught everyone’s attention as she appeared to be donning the iconic eye makeup and diamond-patterned clothing of the beloved comic book character, Harley Quinn. This was the first time Gaga was seen in this getup since her casting in the movie.
On the set, she was surrounded by the Gotham City Police Department and a group of Gotham’s citizens who were protesting. Many of the citizens had their faces painted in Joker-inspired designs and masks while holding signs that read, “Free Joker.” This could imply that the Joker might not get away with what he did on the Murray Franklin Show in the previous movie.
One of the signs in the crowd hinted at the possibility of Harvey Dent’s involvement in the sequel. The sign read, “Dent is the Clown.” Dent, who is famously known as Two-Face, was the District Attorney of Gotham City and last appeared in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight in 2008. It remains to be seen if Two-Face will appear in Joker: Folie à Deux, but it is likely that Dent could be the one responsible for putting Arthur Fleck, aka the Joker, behind bars.
Apart from these intriguing character teases, not much is known about the movie. However, there are reports that Director Todd Phillips plans to turn it into a musical. Joker: Folie à Deux will exist separately from the DC Universe created by James Gunn and Peter Safran, and will instead be part of Matt Reeves’ Batman movies.
To sum it up, Lady Gaga’s appearance on the set of Joker: Folie à Deux in the iconic Harley Quinn attire has sparked excitement among fans. With the presence of the Gotham City Police Department, protests by the citizens, and hints at the involvement of characters like Two-Face, the movie promises to be an exhilarating experience. We eagerly await more updates and insights about the upcoming movie.
